HTML5 converter

Todays animated banners on the internet are usually in Flash (*.swf) or HTML5 (combined with CSS3) format. Since mobile devices like tablet pc or smartphones often cannot display Flash files, HTML5 becomes more and more popular. Therefore it should be considered, to offer banners also in HTML5.

All banners created on www.123-banner.com are in flash format what will be persisting, but there is also an easy way to convert them into HTML5. For instance with Googles free tool Swiffy.

Swiffty is very easy to use:

Afterwards you can save and use the banner as a direct HTML-code.

Here an example of an converted Flash banner:

The disadvantage of the HTML5 format can be, that it causes higher file sizes compared to the flash format. In the example above the original size of the Flash file was ~69KB, due to HTML5 it became ~190KB. This depends on the effects a banner or SWF-file uses.
I recomend to play arround with this and decide which way to go. But you should keep in mind that mobile devices become more and more important, you shouldn't miss that ;-)
