How to use a flash banner as a hyperlink?

Flash banners can't link to pages using HTML-code. A flash banner needs its link in it self.
When you create a flash banner on 123-banner.com you are asked to enter the URL (website address) of your homepage. After banner creation the flashbanner will link to this address.

Why doesn't my HTML site display the banner?

In most cases a wrong HTML code is responsible for problems like that. Flashbanners can't be displayed using the IMG-tag, which is used for GIF and JPG files.
Flash files (*.swf) need a special HTML-code. You find this code here on the website. Just copy and paste it to your HTML document.

The transparent background isn't show on my website. Why?

This issue depends on the HTML-code used for displaying the banner. There are several parameters in the code. For transparent background you need to use
<param name="wmode" value="transparent">
Furthermore, replace the parameter command for background color.
If you use the HTML-code from this website the parameter for a transparent background is already set.

How to save a banner?

After your banner is created it is shown on the website.
You can save it by right clicking the textlink shown under the banner and select "Save target as...":

"Save target as" option is greyed out, why?

This can happen if the Internet Explorers Content Advisor tool is enabled. Thus you have to disable the tool to get the "save target as" option.

1.) Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
2.) Select the Content tab.
3.) Click the Disable button.
4.) Click OK.

Why is there something around the banner on my website?

This can happen if you use wrong settings for width and height in the HTML-code. In most cases Drag and Drop HTML editors are responsible for that.

Why appears "Click to activate and use this control"?

Since Servicepack2 Microsoft Internet Explorer has a problem with flash files. Reason therefore are changes to the IE because of a Eolas patent they have on embeding active content. Thus that problem only happens on InternetExplorer.
